Service Description

Slow Harmony Yoga emphasises a slow, deliberate pace with a focus on harmonising the body, mind, and breath. Here’s a breakdown of what the classes involve: 1. Slow Pace: The practice involves holding some of the poses for a longer duration, or, flowing in and out of some of the poses, allowing for a deeper exploration of each posture. Movements are gentle and unhurried, which can help to cultivate mindfulness and increase body awareness. 2. Harmony: The term "harmony" suggests a balanced integration of the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga. This will involve a focus on aligning breath with movement, achieving mental calmness, or fostering a sense of inner peace and balance. 3. Mindful Practice: Slow Harmony Yoga often incorporates elements of mindfulness, encouraging practitioners to stay present and attentive to their bodily sensations, thoughts, and emotions during the session. 4. Suitable for All Levels: This class is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels because of its gentle approach. It’s particularly beneficial for those looking for stress relief, recovery from injury, or a more meditative form of exercise. Each class will have access to and use various props to allow gentle exploration and provide support for all levels of practitioners. In essence, Slow Harmony Yoga is about creating a soothing and balanced yoga experience that nurtures both the body and the mind.
